Site Upgraded
Despite the lack of posts in the last several months, I haven’t given up on blogging. In preparation of renewed posting, I have upgraded to the latest version of Wordpress (I was very out-of-date) as well as finding a new theme. I’m also looking forward to trying some new/updated plugins. Another change is that I’m trying to stop using Markdown.
I’ve already found a big problem with the theme, any formatting tags seem to make it explode. If it’s not something I can fix easily I’ll probably have to find a new theme. 
One pleasant discovery is that I can specify the Flickr Uploadr as the secondary external editor in Adobe Lightroom. After selecting the photos I want to upload in Lightroom, I can choose Export from the file menu and have the exported files sent to the Uploadr as one of the last options of the Export dialog. Sweet! The only hassle is that the exported files have to be first copied to a directory, meaning I’ll have to clean it out from time to time. I’m also not sure how to go about tagging the photos in Lightroom for Flickr, but supposedly there’s a way to do it.
