RIAA are Lying Sacks of….
Well, I’ll leave it up to you to finish that phrase. So what is the antichrist of the 21st century up to this time? You’re probably familiar the Washington Post’s claim that the RIAA was targeting makign mp3’s of legally purchased CD’s for personal use. While the particular court case upon which this claim is based has been since shown to be about file sharing, not ripping cd’s, the original claim still stands true. How, you ask? Michael Robinson, CEO of www.mp3tunes.com, illustrates how the RIAA and EMI are illegally and immorally attacking reasonable and legal use of CD’s in their lawsuit against mp3tunes. I won’t even big to attempt to describe how wrong this truly is.
Fortunately, there’s light at the end of the tunnel, with recent reports that EMI may cancel funding for the IFPI and RIAA.
I can only hope!
