Neuros bills the OSD as “A Digital VCR for the Portable Age” while I think of it as a really slick piece of hardware that the manufacturer WANTS me to hack. In fact, they’re doing everything they can to get people like myself (well, hopefully a little smarter) to really make the hardware sing and live up to its full potential. The [Neuros Wiki](http://wiki.neurostechnology.com/index.php/Neuros_OSD) has much more information available on the OSD, and here’s some pictures of the gamma device that just arrived on my doorstep. Note that while the final product will be black, my OSD is clear to indicate its gamma status. I would like to point out that I’m the proud owner of one of only 50 such devices, this is a rare bird indeed!
