Unfortunately, I’m having trouble distinguishing the site from deliberately misleading malicious propaganda. While I’m normally a big fan of what MoveOn does, and have signed many of their petitions, in this case they stretched the truth completely beyond recognition by labeling my 20-round .22 magazine, and the collapsible rifle stock I’d like to get for my .22, components of an “assault weapon”. There’s a reason the expiration of the oh-so-inappropriately-named “assault weapon ban” had bi-partisan support. It was a “feel-good” meaningless political gesture from the start, and the SOLE difference it made in real-life was making me reload more often when shooting cans and paper-plates. Does that make you feel safer? Me either.

Get your facts straight MoveOn.org! You have a valid, valuable message to get out, don’t cloud it with misleading BS like this! I’m very disappointed in you.

Am I the only one that sees mainstream media as one of the LEAST reliable and MOST suspect sources of information out there? They should be the last ones critical of anyone else.
